Regular Wall Aluminum Foil Containers
Regular wall foil containers have the ribbed sides you see on takeaway trays and catering pans. Qixin's range includes single-section rectangles and divided meal trays, with different footprints and depths.
If you already have a tray that works, we can compare it with an existing model. A matching capacity alone does not confirm the same shape or lid fit.
Ask about your trayRegular wall foil models to compare
QX1 and QX2 have one open section. QXD1 divides the food into two sections within a smaller footprint than QX2. Listed capacity is a size reference; your food and closure determine the usable fill.

QX1
A rectangular tray with one open section for a meal or a single dish. Its smaller footprint is useful when you are comparing takeaway packs.
- Top out
- 220 x 160 mm
- Height
- 39 mm
- Listed capacity
- 1,100 ml

QX2
A larger rectangle for shared dishes and catering portions. The extra footprint affects your cover, carrier and carton as well as the amount of food.
- Top out
- 318 x 214 mm
- Height
- 52 mm
- Listed capacity
- 2,900 ml

QXD1
Two sections for a main dish and a side. If your menu includes sauce, the divider and cover need a filled-sample check for movement between sections.
- Top out
- 230 x 178 mm
- Height
- 35 mm
- Listed capacity
- 1,200 ml
Which lid fits your regular wall tray?
The rim has to work with the closure you intend to use. Two trays with similar outside dimensions can still need different lids.
- Board lid
- A board lid needs to sit within the intended rim profile. The closing method and edge engagement should be checked on the paired tray and lid.
- Clear lid
- You can see the food, but the lid also adds height. Its corner fit and clearance above your portion matter when packs are stacked.
- Foil cover or lid
- A loose foil cover and a formed lid are different closures. The model, edge shape and way you close the pack determine which option to sample.
- Heat-seal film
- Film compatibility needs confirmation for the specific tray, rim and sealing setup. A regular wall description by itself does not establish heat-seal suitability.
For a tray and lid you already use, the lid fit guide covers the measurements and sample checks.
How much food fits your regular wall tray?
The volume printed beside a model cannot tell you how a mound of rice, a tall baked dish or a sauced meal will sit inside it. Your portion needs enough room for the closure, with the rim clear where it closes.
For a divided tray, the total volume also leaves a second question: how much room does each part of the meal need? A sample filled with your menu shows whether the main and side fit the compartment proportions.
If your regular wall foil tray feels too flexible, we can review the shape and gauge with your filled load. The EAFA guide to foil formability also explains the role of alloy and temper. We would still check how you lift and carry the pack.

Empty trays and filled packs need different packing checks
Empty regular wall foil containers nest for supply. How easily they separate matters when you are filling them, while the nested stack height and pack count affect the outer carton.
Once a tray holds food, the lid and filled load change how it stacks. A carton count for empty trays does not tell you how many prepared meals a carrier can take.
For your quotation, we can confirm the sleeve quantity, carton count and outer dimensions for the selected model. If you order lids separately, their packing needs to be included too.
Questions about regular wall foil containers
Can I keep my current lid when I change suppliers?
Possibly, but a similar top size is not enough to confirm the fit. We can compare the rim and corner profile with your actual lid, then check a paired sample before you order.
Does a divided tray keep sauces apart?
The divider gives the food separate areas. Whether sauce crosses between them depends on the fill, divider, closure and movement during handling. Your filled sample is needed to check that combination.
Should I choose regular or smooth wall?
Regular wall has the ribbed surface shown in these product photos. If you are considering a smoother exterior or a different presentation, our wall comparison explains the choices. Both still need a model-specific closure and food-use check.
Can I ask for a sample without a drawing?
Yes. A current tray photo and rough measurements give us something to compare. If you have the lid or an empty sample, those help us check details that a photo may miss.
Have a tray in mind?
You can send the model number or a photo of your current pack. With your food portion, lid preference, order quantity and destination, we can discuss the closest option and what the sample needs to confirm.
